A Sith Lord of some caliber, Lord Vayne has maintained a relative obscurity when it comes to the public sphere. So much obscurity there is barely little on her, and it's difficult to discern if this comes from a lack of effort or well kept operational security on Vayne's part. So to many of her colleagues in the Sith Order and the Empire overall, she is only known as a socialite from Thule; true enough, Vayne has hosted parties and several affairs that pivoted Imperial and Sith high culture to her doors. These are celebrations of the superiority of Imperial culture, often inviting dignitaries and ambassadors of subjugated or to-be-subjugated worlds.

Because the truth is that Vayne also goes by the codename 'Monarch' in the Intelligence Community, dubbed thus by the Republic's SIS; there is no face to this name. The name is only the name, SIS records make reference to this shadowy organizer known as 'Monarch' who, according to SIS records, they came to believe coordinates several cells of spies and assets across both Imperial and Republic space, fanning the flames of terrorism in the Republic and keeping predatory eyes on rivals in their own borders. When guns are needed for pro-Imperial terrorists, it's speculated that Monarch facilitates.
 
Vayne is this spymaster known as Monarch. She helms a large section of the Sphere of Galactic Influence's Sith Intelligence Bureau. Publicly, though, she's known to be connected with Expansion and Diplomacy.
