EXPANDING INFLUENCE

Expanding Influence

With the House and Ullitzae coalescing into order once more, attention was turned outward; however, the target wasn't other worlds, but to Drezzi, itself.

The monstrous deeds of Countess Lametelia's father and the wasteful destruction it had wrought further soured her already poor opinions on the traditions and culture of the greater Sith Order. To her, the determination was simple: If Drezzi was to be able to survive itself and not be torn apart by mad ambitions, then its leadership had to be made more rational.

But talking of philosophy and reason within the Empire rarely changes anything. The squabbling, backstabbing houses of Drezzi wouldn't change their ways, especially if it meant losing the chance to hold or gain more power. So began the long game to destroy or being to heel the houses of Drezzi.

The continent of Kots'sutta was chosen be the catalyst. Already socially and economically unstable, Kots'sutta was the festering boil on the surface of Drezzi's political landscape. Under a unified network of governance, the counties of the continent could be made to have a powerful influence in Drezzian politics. All that was required was for the right climate for change to emerge, there--no easy task, given that Drezzi was already an established Imperial world.
