Drezzi is an old world founded during the Golden Age of the Sith. The Red Sith preferred the temperate planet’s colder regions, establishing fortress cities in the regions nearest to the planet’s poles and in its high snow-capped mountains. They found the planet to be abundant in resources, uninhabited by sentients, and untamed. Drezzi’s plentiful riches and challenging beasts in its dense forests and sub-tropic regions were appealing to the Sith lords that established their power there.
 
For a couple of millennia, the lords of Drezzi established their colonies, battling one-another for supremacy while under the rule of the (Old) Sith Empire. Plentiful slaves were imported to the world to work its industries, and armies of the lords fought over the land. One lord never rose to overpower the others, leading to frequently shifting alliances of convenience between the Sith rulers. With single voice never unifying the world’s direction, orbital facilities were never established, leading to most of the world’s industry being focused on resource extraction and exports.
